This savory take on shrimp goes best with either fluffy white rice, or a side of steamed veggies. Basically, you can have it any way you like it. You be the judge!
- 4 cloves of fresh peeled garlic, finely chopped
- 1 and ½ pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of chili paste
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons of rice wine
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Ground black pepper
Open your Garlic Shaker®. Toss an entire head of garlic into it. Close the lids. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Open a lid. Pour out the peeled garlic cloves.
Mix the soy sauce, chili paste, sesame oil, rice wine, and sugar in a small mixing bowl. Stir until well combined, set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Sauté the garlic until aromatic and slightly browned.
Add the shrimp and cook until both side changes into pink.
Pour the mixture and stir until shrimp is fully coated.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve.
