Garlic Toast with Forked Avocado and Basil

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 small bunch of basil, thick stems removed and sliced thinly
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 to 4 slices of bread/li>
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Fine salt
  • Ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Open your Garlic Shaker®. Toss an entire head of garlic into it. Close the lids. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Open a lid. Pour out the peeled garlic cloves.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.

Toast the bread until desired doneness is achieved

In a large bowl, combine the avocado, garlic, salt and pepper. Mash with a fork until well incorporated yet still lumpy.

Spread the mixture on top of the toasted bread and drizzle each toast with balsamic vinegar and sliced basil

Best served while still warm
