This is a simple and no-frills spread that will put you on the map. Your friends and relatives will be calling you constantly for a copy of the recipe.
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened/li>
- ½ cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons of parsley, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper
Open your Garlic Shaker®. Toss an entire head of garlic into it. Close the lids. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Open a lid. Pour out the peeled garlic cloves.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
Combine the cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl and mix until well blended.
Add the garlic, parsley and mix well.
Sprinkle a few amounts of salt and pepper, to taste.
Cover the bowl with a clear cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or at most overnight, to allow the flavors to marry.
Spread the garlic spread on warm focaccia bread and serve immediately.
