Don’t knock garlic juice until you’ve tried it. It may seem like an odd idea, but you will get past that notion with this healthy garlic extract. It has tons of health benefits, from boosting your immune system, lowering cholesterol levels up to reducing oxidization in your blood. Garlic juice also has so many uses in cooking.
- 1 bulb of fresh garlic
- Open your Garlic Shaker®. Toss an entire head of garlic into it. Close the lids. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Open a lid. Pour out the peeled cloves.
- Smash the garlic using the side of a chef’s knife, continue until the remaining skin can be easily peeled off.
- Place the garlic in a food processor and puree for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until the garlic chunks turn into a thick, creamy consistency.
- Strain the garlic to separate the juice from the garlic pulp, and store it inside a closed container. Refrigerate and use when needed.
