How to make a garlic confit

Open your Garlic Shaker®. Toss an entire head of garlic into it. Close the lids. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Open a lid. Pour out the peeled garlic cloves.

Making a garlic confit is easy, and fast. You need to prepare all the garlic cloves. 2 hours will be enough to have your confit ready. You need to have 2 cups of olive oil and 6 bulbs of garlic. If you have more garlic and enough olive oil, you ca make as much confit as you like. Peel all the garlic cloves carefully not to prick them or to damage them

Put the garlic cloves into a large pan to cook slowly in olive oil. Cook for 40 minutes, or until the cloves are tender. When you start to cook the garlic cloves, bubbles will emerge from the bottom of your pot. Ensure to cook on low heat till ready. For best cooking, ensure that the temperatures do not exceed 210 degree. The tip for the best confit is to cover the cloves in oil, so use a small but enough pot. Also, get the best olive oil for your confit. The final product of your confit includes tender garlic that is not bitter, and has inviting garlic aroma. Use immediately.
